Tribal 8(a) Sole source awards can be of any size up to $30M for Civilian agencies $100M for Defense. There is no requirement that a procurement must compete whenever possible before it can be accepted on a sole-source basis for a Tribally owned concern.

 Sole-Source awards may be accepted by the SBA when the acquisition is for a Tribal-Owned small business or Alaska Native Corporation
